When I visited USC for the first time, the energy that I witnessed between the students was unparalleled. USC's interdisciplinary education, small class sizes, strong network, and friendly atmosphere sealed the deal for me. Law school has sharpened my ability to think critically and deeply about the concepts that dictate the way our society is structured. In addition, it has made me understand how legal rules affect every day behavior. The many lessons that I have learned in law school so far have pushed me to join the Iraqi Refugee Assistance Project, Law Review, and the Mediation Clinic. After finishing my first year of law school and celebrating with my friends, I knew what we had all accomplished and to date that has been the greatest feeling.
