The U.S. Navy JAG Corps is now accepting applications for full-time, post-graduate Navy JAG officer positions.  The Navy JAG Corps offers a substantial level of responsibility, a broad spectrum of legal experience involving unique issues, travel opportunities, and a great quality of life.  Eligible 2L and 3L students are encouraged to apply.  The application, eligibility requirements, details about the process, and FAQs may be found online at http://www.jag.navy.mil/careers_/index.html.

The Navy JAG Corps student accessions program has two boards each school year; fall and spring.

All applications must be submitted online at:  http://www.jag.navy.mil/careers_/careers/opportunities_overview.html

After submitting an online application, JAG Corps candidates will participate in a structured interview with two JAG attorneys.  All applicants who submit a completed application will be extended an interview; however - THE ONLINE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED WITH ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION PRIOR TO THE INTERVIEW BEING SCHEDULED.  The deadline for completed applications (i.e. the application AND interview), is SEPTEMBER 30, thus, completing your online application as soon as possible is in your best interest.

Interviews are held at the Naval Recruiting District in El Segundo, CA, and will likely be scheduled for the 29th and/or 30th of September.

Should interested applicants have questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact Lieutenant Mark Altman at Mark.W.Altman@navy.mil or (819) 556-3167.
