Robin McCaffery is associate legal counsel with Cedars-Sinai Health System. As in house counsel, her current practice is quite varied with an emphasis that includes contracts, managed care, privacy, regulatory compliance, finance, research compliance, patient rights, physician relationships, accountable care organizations, and various other matters pertaining to academic health care systems. She teaches healthcare compliance for the online LLM, MSL, and certificate programs at USC Gould School of Law. McCaffery has also served as an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and Southwestern Law School. She holds a certification in healthcare compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association. She graduated from USC Gould and recently earned a LLM, Health Law, from Loyola University Chicago Law School.

Heidi Rummel was quoted about the likelihood of getting a conviction in a homicide case without the victim's body. "In most homicide prosecutions, the fact the person died is not the issue," Rummel said. “In the vast majority of murder cases, proving someone was a homicide victim is relatively easy with an autopsy, but without a body, prosecutors will need to prove the case with only circumstantial evidence.”
