Campus Housing

A 14-story campus landmark, Webb Tower is USC's tallest housing building, providing Summer Law & English (SLE) Program students spectacular views of the city or the campus. Each floor has just eight apartments, which fosters a tight-knit community. Its excellent location near the Lyon Recreation Center, which holds a pool, gym and other recreational facilities, and wide variety of floor plans helps to explain why it is so popular with students. SLE housing is not mandatory; however, a stay at Webb Tower will provide students with a comfortable option during the program.

Conveniently located within 10-minute walk to the USC Gould School of Law building, students are able to share a two-bedroom apartment with another SLE participant or select a private one-bedroom apartment. Some of the amenities include:

  • Furnished apartments with full kitchen (oven, stove and refrigerator), private bathroom, living room and dining area
  • Air conditioning
  • Linen packet (pillow case, sheets and towels) along with pillow and blanket
  • Security with card-reader lockers
  • Complimentary wireless internet

Webb Tower also offers a common laundry and lounge rooms with televisions. There is a study room located on the first floor of Webb Tower and a high-tech computer lab in the adjoined building for SLE students to use. All USC Housing units are non-smoking facilities. There are many options for dining on campus, near campus, and around Los Angeles at an additional cost assumed by students.

The cost for housing is $1,450 per person for a shared apartment and $1,950 per person for a private apartment. In shared apartments, two same-gendered SLE students will be paired in one apartment. Each will receive his/her own bedroom and share a kitchen and living room. In private apartments, students will receive their own bedroom, kitchen and living room. If you would like to request housing, a separate $100 housing application fee is required. Please see the Housing Request section of the online application form for various apartment options and required housing fees.

All housing fees are non-refundable unless we are unable to reserve a space for you or your visa is denied. We are normally able to accommodate all students who request housing by June 1. After this deadline, space may be more difficult for us to confirm. If housing is full, we will notify you and ask if you wish to be placed on a waiting list or if you would like to cancel your reservation. All housing prices are estimated. USC housing prices may change without notice.

SLE Housing at Webb Tower can only accommodate adults. Please contact SLE regarding housing for families.
