Black Law Students Association (BLSA)

The Black Law Students Association (BLSA) mission is to continue to build a strong community at USC Gould by providing guidance, assistance, and support for black law students throughout their academic, professional, and social endeavors.  On campus, we support one another academically through an active mentorship program, community study materials, mock exams for 1L’s, and group study sessions throughout finals.  BLSA also seeks to expose students at USC Gould to various networking opportunities with our strong alumni network, firms in the LA area, LA organizations, and local entrepreneurs.  In addition to networking events, BLSA provides opportunities to contribute to, and impact, the surrounding community through community service projects and outreach. With the help of our sponsors, USC BLSA hosts regular events throughout the year, invites guest speakers to lecture at USC, and hosts an annual banquet where we recognize BLSA members for their academic achievements. Although BLSA is a historically African-American group, our organization encourages all interested students to reach out and add to the diversity of BLSA.  Fight On!
