National Lawyers Guild (NLG)

NLG is USC's student chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. "The Guild" is a nation-wide organization of lawyers, law students, and legal workers dedicated to radical lawyering and progressive change. The Guild works to safeguard and extend the rights of workers, women LGBTQ people, people with disabilities, and people of color. For a history of the Guild's activities over the years see: https://www.nlg.org/our-history.

Here at the law school, students who are guild-members organize to promote public interest lawyering, serve as legal observers at protests in the Los Angeles region, support the efforts of USC workers to improve their terms of work, and participate in activities organized by the Los Angeles Chapter of the Guild. We welcome all students at our events and meetings.
