Careers at US Treasury with Paul Rosen, ’05

From California to Washington, DC, Paul Rosen’s (’05) career has taken him from USC Gould to senior roles in the federal government including on Capitol Hill, as a prosecutor at Department of Justice, and as the Chief of Staff of the Department of Homeland Security. Currently, he serves as Assistant Secretary for Investment Security at the Department of the Treasury, where leads all operations and activities of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, the interagency Committee that reviews foreign investment into U.S. businesses for national security risks. Paul will share how his time at USC Gould helped prepare him for a career in law enforcement and national security and discuss the types of opportunities available to students and recent graduates who are also interested in jobs in public service or at the Department of the Treasury.
