NLG Legal Observer Training

The Legal Observer program is part of a comprehensive system of legal support coordinated by the National Lawyers Guild designed to enable people to express their political views as fully as possible. The primary role of a Legal Observer is to observe and record incidents and the activities of law enforcement in relation to demonstrators at protests and political actions. This training will allow students to become Legal Observers. Legal Observers are freqeuntly lawyers and law students, though the program is open to all members of the community.
