Join us to learn about the niche art law field from veteran art lawyers. The panel will begin with a short introduction on hot topics in art law followed by a question and answer session with our esteemed panelists. 

John Cahill has been billed by Artnet as the second most powerful lawyer in the art world. As a litigator, Cahill has worked on some of the highest profile art law cases in the world including the Knoedler forgery cases and the Sammons fraud case. Cahill also works as a transactional lawyer, having handled billions of dollars in art transactions. Cahill has served as general counsel for Phillips and as the Chief Commercial Officer for Sotheby's. Today, Cahill leads his own law firm Olsoff, Cahill, Cossu, LLP. 

Pamela Kohanchi is the Deputy General Counsel at LACMA. Kohanchi has worked at LACMA for over ten years. LACMA is the largest museum in the western United States with a collection of more than 142,000 objects that illuminate 6,000 years of artistic expression across the globe.
