Course Description

This course serves as a basic introduction to the policies and principles of the federal income tax, with particular emphasis on taxation of the individual.  The coverage will include an exploration of the scope and definition of gross income, the role of exclusions and deductions, and the determination and treatment of gains and losses from the disposition of property.
