IOWA SUPREME COURT RULES IN FAVOR OF SAME-SEX MARRIAGE

DAVID B. CRUZ, USC law professor, is an expert in constitutional law and marriage rights for same-sex couples. He can discuss how the Iowa ruling could impact other courts, including the California Supreme Court, which is considering a challenge to California ’s ban on same-sex marriages. He can also talk about the basis and significance of the Iowa ruling and how Connecticut and Massachusetts are currently the only other states in the union to recognize same-sex marriage.
