Fred A. Fenster is a partner at Greenberg Glusker Fields Claman & Machtinger LLP. He resolves complex business disputes for a diverse cross-section of clients, ranging from multi-national corporations to private individuals and sports luminaries.

Although litigation has been the cornerstone of his practice, Fenster also represents clients in arbitration, mediation and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings. He has successfully tried more than 100 cases involving business contracts, unfair competition, trade disparagement, misappropriation of trade secrets and interference with advantageous business relationships. He also has significant expertise in business torts, fraud, partnership and corporate dissolutions, defamation, injunctive relief and various employment matters such as wrongful termination and non-competition covenants.

Fenster is a lecturer in law at the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law and a Member of the Board of Editors of California Pretrial Practice & Forms, which gives him a unique perspective on the law and timely insight on issues that may pivotally impact the manner in which a case should be handled from pretrial through trial.

Fenster earned his JD, Order of the Coif, and BS in political science, magna cum laude, from USC.

Re: Jody David Armour

Jody Armour spoke on a panel hosted by the reform group Neighborhood Forward about the unintended consequences of a proposed menthol cigarette ban in California. "These kinds of bans and prohibitions only license the police to make more pre-text stops, and the Black community does not need more unjust interactions with police," he said. The story was also posted in EURweb.
