In his private practice, Ramos advises clients on business matters such as corporate governance, entity formation, and due diligence. He represents clients in connection with structuring, negotiating and documenting commercial transactions. Ramos assists clients in reviewing corporate documents and legal agreements and advises them on strategic initiatives and business compliance issues. As in-house counsel at a private company, Ramos provided senior executive management legal advice on company matters across various departments. His law firm experience included doing corporate work and practicing real estate law at premier law firms. Through his involvement as a board member in several nonprofits serving the community in which he was raised, Ramos uses his legal skills and experience to give back to the community. He is also a trustee of the Mexican American Bar Association and was previously a trustee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and a City of Los Angeles commissioner.
Prior to law school, Ramos was an investment banking analyst on Wall Street in New York, where he gained an understanding of the business and finance side of transactions and combines such understanding in performing legal analysis and in making decisions that require an understanding of both law and business.
Before attending Stanford Law School, Ramos attended Harvard, where he received his BA in Economics.
