Irma Vargas is an adjunct assistant professor of law and supervising attorney at USC Gould’s Post-Conviction Justice Project. For the past 10 years, Vargas has been a dedicated advocate for justice, representing clients in criminal cases across Los Angeles County, first as a Deputy Public Defender and currently as a Deputy Alternate Public Defender. Vargas received her JD from USC Gould in 2014.
