Ben Barnett

Ben Barnett is an appellate court attorney with the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District.
Before taking on this role, Barnett represented tenants facing eviction actions as a senior staff attorney at Inner City Law Center, a nonprofit law firm in Los Angeles. He also previously practiced civil litigation at a law firm in Chicago, and served as a judicial law clerk at the Idaho Supreme Court, the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. Barnett received a JD and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago, and a BA in psychology and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
As a lecturer in law at the USC Gould School of Law, Barnett teaches a course introducing the structure and operations of, as well as the methodologies employed within, the U.S. legal system.
