Susan J. Booth is a partner at Holland & Knight LLP, where she spent more than a decade as the head of the West Coast Real Estate Group and served on the firm's Director's Committee. She has extensive experience negotiating, drafting and successfully closing large commercial financing and purchase/sale transactions involving shopping centers, hotels, condominiums, office buildings, industrial parks, data centers, senior-living centers and residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. She is widely regarded for her expertise in all types of capital market transactions and for her ability to develop and implement strategies to resolve the issues arising from non-performing real estate assets. She has closed more than $1 billion in transactions over each of the past few years.

Booth has spoken in multiple forums, and her writings have been featured in various industry and legal publications. She has received numerous honors, including Marquis, Who’s Who in America, Chambers USA – America's Leading Business Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America, and was named one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Southern California through Super Lawyers. She also received a Commendation from the City of Los Angeles.

Among her leadership roles, Booth serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles as well as on the board of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and the executive committee for the City of Hope Construction and Real Estate Industries Council. She is a past chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Real Property Section and continues to serve on its executive committee. She is also co-chair of USC Gould’s Annual Conference on Real Estate Law and Business.

Booth graduated from Stanford University with a BA in International Relations, and she received a JD and an MBA from UCLA, where she was the managing editor of the UCLA Law Review.
