Bill Chang is deputy general counsel at Riot Games and co-author of Video Game Law in a Nutshell. Prior to joining Riot Games, he was an associate at Sidley Austin focusing on intellectual property and patent matters.

As a lecturer in law at the USC Gould School of Law, he teaches “Topics in Entertainment: Video Game Law” and previously taught “Medical Innovations” at the Northwestern University School of Law. He received his BA in Computer Science from Cornell University and his JD from the Northwestern University School of Law.
