Karen Ciccone is a lecturer in law at USC Gould School of Law. Her experience includes two decades of legal practice as a civil litigator in Los Angeles in the areas of business, banking, insurance and environmental law. She is currently counsel with Cermak & Inglin, and previously was a partner with the national law firm Akerman LLP. Prior to joining Akerman, she spent a decade as the general counsel and corporate secretary for MyRapidMD Corporation, handling all legal matters including negotiation of international licensing agreements, and as counsel for Occidental Petroleum Corporation. She received her BA from the University of California at Los Angeles and her JD from Loyola Law School.
