Calimay Pham
Calimay Pham is a staff attorney for the Los Angeles County Child Support Services department, where she works to establish and maintain financial support for families. Prior to her work with CSSD, Pham was a staff attorney with the Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers, a nonprofit organization that represents parents in juvenile dependency proceedings.
In addition to her legal practice, Pham is active in the community on both state and local levels. She currently serves as vice president of the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, a consumer protection board that licenses and regulates the state’s barbering and beauty industry. Pham also serves as a planning commissioner for the City of Alhambra. She is past president of the Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance and a co-chair of the annual Asian Pacific American Community Holiday Toy Drive and Reception.
Pham is the daughter of Vietnamese refugees and is the only member of her family to graduate from college. Pham earned her JD from the UCLA School of Law and her bachelor degree, summa cum laude with college honors, in the study of Religion and History from UCLA.
