Mona Shah is a lecturer in law at the USC Gould School of Law. She currently teaches Legal Profession and Academic and Professional Skills For U.S. Law Studies I.

Outside of USC, Shah is a litigation attorney in Los Angeles where she has enjoyed a long and successful career representing clients in civil legal disputes of all kinds. Shah maintains an active practice, appearing in both state and federal court, as well as before various administrative bodies. She also provides day-to-day counsel to several corporate and individual clients, providing them advice on legal and business issues. Shah also serves as a mentor to junior attorneys. Being dedicated to nonprofit work, she is an emeritus board member of the Asian Pacific Community Fund, and an active board member of Career Sparks. She has been involved in numerous California Bar and minority bar associations, including serving as past president of the South Asian Bar Association of Southern California, and on the board of the South Asian Bar Association of North America.

In addition to her current practice, Shah maintains an active mediation practice. She received her BA in Political Science from UC Irvine and her JD from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She is a member of the California State Bar.
