Loren Shokes is a lecturer in law at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where her teaching and research focus on the legal and commercial frameworks shaping contemporary creative industries. Before joining the Gould School of Law faculty, she was a professor at the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment. Shokes earned her JD from Harvard Law School and her BA, summa cum laude, from UCLA, and is admitted to practice law in New York and California.
