Caroline J. Vranca is a senior entertainment executive and attorney leading Business & Legal Affairs at Magenta Light Studios, where she oversees the business, legal, and governance functions spanning film, television, streaming, and digital production and distribution.

As Executive Producer, Vranca’s film credits include Protector (starring Milla Jovovich), Bride Hard (starring Rebel Wilson), Deep Water (starring Aaron Eckhart and Ben Kingsley), and The King of the Internet (a.k.a. O Rei da Internet).

Her work spans production legal, talent and rights negotiations, network and studio agreements, domestic and international distribution, film acquisitions, co-productions, licensing, and risk management. Vranca advises, drafts, and negotiates joint ventures, partnerships, content acquisitions, production and talent agreements, branded entertainment deals, and distribution and commercial contracts. She also leads M&A due diligence and integration and oversee litigation matters that arise across the company, shaping strategies that support sustainable growth and protect long-term enterprise value.

Vranca is also active in Magenta’s AI research, policy, and governance initiatives, helping shape responsible frameworks for how emerging technology intersects with creativity, operations, and studio decision-making.

Her career includes leadership roles at Funny or Die, Bunim/Murray, and All3Media America, as well as practicing law at Hansen Jacobson Teller. Vranca began her career at Sequoia Capital.

Beyond Magenta, Vranca is involved in the industry as a member of the Television Academy and Women In Film, Co-Editor of the UCLA Entertainment Symposium, a board member of Professional Entertainment Female Attorneys, and a participant on the Planning Committee for the USC/BHBA Institute on Law and Business. Her honors include the Association of Media & Entertainment Counsel’s “Rising Star” award and a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” recognition.

Vranca holds a BA in Economics and Business from UC Santa Barbara and a JD from New York Law School.
