A delegation of five judges from Taiwan stopped by USC Law this month as part of a visit under the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program. The judges, in the right of the photo above, joined Associate Dean Debbie Call, center, in attending an intellectual property class taught by Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor of Law Jack Lerner, left center.

The judges will handle cases in Taiwain's Intellectual Property Rights Court, which will formally be established in July 2008. Their visit was meant to provide a better understanding of American case flow management, particularly with regard to IP cases. The judges in the delegation were: Chen-Yi Chiang, Shu-Hui Lee, Meng-I Lin, Hsin Ning Ka and Chia-Yi Tseng.
