LAUSD superintendent spoke at fourth annual event

The Black Law Students Association hosted its fourth annual Alumni Banquet April 19. BLSA president Anthony and LAUSD superintendent Brewer

Students, alumni and faculty dined at the Davidson Conference Center on the USC Campus with a number of prospective students admitted to USC Law, who were set to visit campus for Preview Day on April 20.

Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent David Brewer III (pictured right, with BLSA President 2L Doreen Anthony) presented the evening's keynote address.

USC Law grad Anthony Alexander '74, Of Counsel with Atkins & Evans, was named the BLSA alumnus of the year.

First-year student Helena Ajudua was also recognized as this year's recipient of a summer grant from BLSA in conjuntion with the Public Interest Law Foundation.
