Students, faculty and staff anted up for a good cause at the annual Legal Aid Alternative Breaks Poker Tournament February 10.

The event, held in the USC Law Cafe, raised about $1,200 that will support LAAB students' spring break trip to the Gulf Coast, where they will provide legal aid and perform community service. LAAB works with the Student Hurricane Network to place students in organizations in New Orleans and Biloxi, Miss.

For a $20 buy-in, about 40 players competed for a number of prizes. Andrew Post '10 won the tournament and received "Guitar Hero: World Tour." Prof. Rich Walton took second place and received an iPod Shuffle.

About 30 people joined the fun as spectators, paying $5 to enjoy food and drinks.
