Charles Cronin is a musician and lawyer in Los Angeles. He established the Music Copyright Infringement Resource online archive while a graduate student at Berkeley in 1997 and continues to oversee the archive’s increasingly distributed authorship. Cronin received a BA from Oberlin College & Conservatory, a MA and PhD in Musicology from Stanford University, a JD from American University Washington College of Law, and a MA in Information Systems from UC Berkeley.
