Frequently Asked Questions

What's included with registration?

  • In-Person: Registration includes all sessions, continental breakfast, luncheon, networking refreshment breaks, continuing education credit, the electronic Institute Syllabus, and the Institute event app.
  • Virtual: Registration includes access to all live sessions, continuing education credit, the electronic Institute Syllabus, and the Institute event app.
  • Videos On Demand: Access to recorded sessions and the ability to receive MCLE credit for watching videos on demand, provided by the BHBA.

Register early before the Institute sells out!


Where is the Institute being held?

The 2026 Institute on Entertainment Law and Business will be held at USC University Park Campus.

Where do I park?

Self-parking is available for $20.50 on a first-come, first-served basis until full.

Institute parking is located at the USC Figueroa Parking Garage, at 3522 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90007.

Pay-by-plate:

All USC parking lots are cashless. Parking passes are available for purchase online. To purchase your parking pass for the Institute, you’ll need to enter your license plate number, email, and credit card information. 

All structures are patrolled using LPR (License Plate Reader) technology, so be sure to enter your license plate number correctly and purchase your pass before leaving your vehicle.

Parking in ADA, “reserved,” or “hotel” spaces is not allowed.

You will need to walk from the parking lot onto campus, where the Institute sessions will be held. We will place signage around the area to lead you to the venue.

Note, we will be utilizing three buildings on the USC campus.


Are hotel rooms available to book?

A limited number of sleeping rooms are available at the USC Hotel. Please contact the USC Hotel (213)748-4141 for more information or book online. USC alumni can book rooms at a discounted rate.


Where do I check in and pick up my badge?

Badges will be held at Will Call, located in the Ronald Tutor Campus Center from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. If you arrive just before the luncheon session, proceed directly to Town & Gown and pick up your badge at the USC Gould School of Law after the luncheon. No badges will be mailed.


What is the dress code?

The Institute on Entertainment Law and Business has a business casual dress code. The Institute will be held in three locations on campus and recommends wearing comfortable shoes for walking.


What are the accommodations for dietary restrictions and special access needs?

Lunch will be provided; any dietary restrictions can be indicated in your registration. All meal requests must be made by Friday, September 18, 2026, to guarantee accommodations.


How can I exhibit at or sponsor the event?

Exhibitor space is limited to sponsors and supporters. Please contact the CLE Office at cle@law.usc.edu or call (213) 821-3580 with questions.


Can I cancel and get a refund?

All registrations and purchases are final and non-refundable.

How can I get on-demand access to session recordings and syllabus materials?

On-demand recordings will be made available for up to one year after the Institute.

Videos on-demand are available in BHBA+. All attendees have a BHBA+ account, associated with the email used at registration.
