Course Description

Justice in Education Practicum LAW-897

Students will advocate on behalf of children and youth experiencing gender discrimination, harassment, and sexual violence in school settings; advocate for special education services on behalf of students with disabilities; assist students facing expulsion or other exclusionary school discipline; advocate for youth in the areas of housing and rights for expectant and parenting youth while learning about rights and remedies under federal and state law.
