Judicial clerkship reception

1Ls and 2Ls learned about post-graduate judicial clerkships from USC Law alumni at a cocktail reception Oct. 11 held at the home of Arsine Phillips ’86 and Gary Phillips ’85. Speakers included: Dave Walsh ’85, who served as Clerkship receptionmaster of ceremonies, Bryan Smith ’05, Dan Schecter ’94 and Gregory Koltun. The presenters spoke about the value of their clerkships to their development as lawyers and to their success.

The event was co-sponsored by Paul Hastings; Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP; Irell & Manella; Jones Day; Latham & Watkins; Morrison & Foerster; O’Melveny & Myers LLP; and Sidley Austin.  It was spearheaded and co-sponsored by the USC Law Board of Councilors.
