The USC Gould Undergraduate Law Programs Office hosted three public sessions for students and their families during Trojan Family Weekend. Held Thursday and Friday, Oct. 5-6, in the Musick Law Building, the sessions offered attendees a look at the importance of an undergraduate education in law, an insider’s guide to law school admissions, and an opportunity to meet with Interim Dean Franita Tolson.

On Thursday, Oct. 5, Professor Bob Rasmussen led Make Your Mark with Legal Studies, a discussion on how law and society are connected and how a comprehension of this connection can lead to successful careers in the modern world. On Friday, Oct. 6, Dean Tolson hosted the Dean’s Reception, where faculty and staff mingled with students and their families over continental breakfast. And finally, Associate Dean for Admissions and Financial Aid David Kirschner offered insider tips and advice on the application process in Inside Law School Admissions.
