Brent Wilner is a senior counsel in the Enforcement Division of the Los Angeles Regional Office of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, and the office’s liaison to the SEC Cyber Unit. Prior to joining the Commission, Wilner was a senior associate at Sidley Austin LLP’s Los Angeles office practicing white collar criminal defense, and a deputy attorney general at the California Attorney General’s Office.  Wilner also clerked for Judge William Alsup in the Northern District of California.

Jody Armour spoke on a panel hosted by the reform group Neighborhood Forward about the unintended consequences of a proposed menthol cigarette ban in California. "These kinds of bans and prohibitions only license the police to make more pre-text stops, and the Black community does not need more unjust interactions with police," he said.
