Jeremy Kaufman is a seasoned IP attorney, entertainment industry executive and management consultant. He has worked at Disney, Twentieth Century Fox, Netflix and now Versant, where he leads the IP & Music Team. Throughout his career he has helped grow and protect many iconic franchises from The Muppets to Avatar to Stranger Things. He has worked on all facets of media creation and exploitation, and his expertise includes copyright, trademark, right of publicity, defamation and emerging technologies. He has taught Art Law at Claremont Graduate University and frequently lectures at law schools and conferences on a wide array of business and legal issues. He has served as a board member of non-profit art organizations and legal societies.
