Ryan Metheny

Ryan Metheny is managing librarian, legal education, at the Los Angeles Law Library. He oversees all of the educational programs and events at the library, which includes public and MCLE classes, clinics and workshops at the main and remote locations. After graduating from the UCLA School of Law, Metheny practiced First Amendment law at a public interest firm in Berkeley, Calif. He then transitioned to librarianship to focus on his passions of research and education, and earned a MA degree in library and information sciences from the University of Washington. Metheny also assists patrons with research at the reference desk and coordinates other programs at the library, including the members program and the law student internship program. Metheny also teaches legal research at USC Gould School of Law.
