Adam Sieff is a media, antitrust and constitutional litigator at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. A recognized thought leader on emerging issues at the intersection of online speech and competition regulation, he represents internet, media and technology clients in antitrust, First Amendment, Section 230, copyright and regulatory litigation and appeals, including preemption matters and constitutional challenges to state and local regulation. He also counsels clients on legislation, ballot initiatives and compliance with competition laws, and he represents nonprofit and issue-advocacy organizations in constitutional rights, voting rights, and civil rights impact litigation, including before the U.S. Supreme Court. Outside of his practice, Sieff serves as vice chair of the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy in Los Angeles, and on the boards of various civic organizations. In 2020, he served as voting rights counsel for the Biden presidential campaign.

Sieff received his JD with distinction from Stanford Law School, where he was editor of the Stanford Law & Policy Review and awarded the John Hart Ely Prize for his legal scholarship on the intersection of jurisprudence and democratic theory. He received his AB summa cum laude from Columbia University, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, awarded the Charles A. Beard Prize for his thesis “Between Global Citizenship and Empire: A Political Concept for International Order,” 22 J. Pol. & Soc. 2 (2011), and given the Edwin M. Robbins Prize for public service.
