Daniel Tepstein
Daniel C. Tepstein leads Verizon’s commercial litigation practice. With more than two decades of litigation experience, Tepstein has litigated or overseen the prosecution and defense of hundreds of significant disputes — several of which were matters of first impression that shaped the law for Internet service providers and their users.
Before he joined Verizon, Tepstein led Yahoo’s commercial litigation team. He was a partner and commercial litigator at the firms of Hunton & Williams LLP and O’Donnell & Shaeffer LLP, in Los Angeles.
Tepstein graduated cum laude from Southwestern University School of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the Southwestern Law Review and served as an extern for the Honorable Arthur L. Alarcón, Senior Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola Marymount University.
