Unleash your inner secret agent because Casino Royale is coming to USC.

Tickets to see the Los Angeles Kings, two dozen Sprinkles Cupcakes and a night at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel are some of the many offerings attendees will be able to bid for at the Public Interest Law Foundation’s (PILF) 22nd Annual Casino Royale auction.

The event will be held at the Ronald Tutor Campus Center (RTCC) Grand Ballroom and will run from 8:00 – 11:30 p.m. on Thurs. Jan. 26, 2012.

Other big-ticket items include a signed jersey from former USC football star and current quarterback for the New York Jets Mark Sanchez, a signed script, book and photo from the cast of Parks and Recreation and wine tasting at the home of Dean Rasmussen and Professor Rebecca Brown.

“The auction brings together USC Law students, faculty and alumni as well as attorneys from the greater Los Angeles area for an enjoyable night of casino games and fun-filled bidding,” said Jasmyn Jones ‘13, PILF’s fundraising chair.

All proceeds from the event will fund summer grants that allow law students to work in a variety of public interest organizations this coming summer. Last year, PILF funded grants for 32 USC Law students, and hopes to provide grants for more students this coming summer.

“The annual auction has remained one of the biggest social nights of the year for students, and the event continues to highlight USC Law's commitment to both public interest law and students interested in working in this sector,” said Jones.

Due to PILF’s efforts, USC students have obtained legal relief for the homeless, abused children, low-income working families, undocumented immigrants and refugees and many other vulnerable populations.

“I was given a grant last year and worked at the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law this past summer,” said Elizabeth Ayral ‘13, PILF’s fundraising co-chair. “I provided free family law services to the Los Angeles community.”

General tickets are $40; $30 for students before Jan. 20.
