FCC Public Hearing on Media Ownership

Public hearing on media ownership to be held Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at USC's Davidson Conference Center.  Federal Communications Commissioners Copps and Adelstein and Congresswoman Hilda Solis to discuss diversity and localism in the media.  Executive Director of the USC Center for Communication Law and Policy and former FCC chief economist Simon Wilkie will also testify. 

The forum is free and open to the public and will feature panel discussions on cross-ownership and diverstiy in entertainment.
