Institute on Entertainment Law and Business celebrates 54th anniversary

Warner Bros. Entertainment CEO Kevin Tsujihara is headlining USC Gould School of Law’s 54th Anniversary of the Institute on Entertainment Law and Business, a marquee event for entertainment lawyers and professionals.
The conference, “GPS for the Digital World: At the Intersection of Technology and Content” will give entertainment industry players tips for success in the fast changing world of technology.
The event runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 5 on the USC campus.
Co-sponsored by the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Gould School of Law, the Institute on Entertainment Law and Business has attracted Hollywood’s key business and legal professionals for decades.
The conference will feature an in-depth examination of how the Internet and computers have impacted society. Key facts and data exploring consumers’ use of media, including the scope of user-generated content and its effect on traditional media content will be brought to light.
Tsujihara, chief executive oficer for Warner Bros.Entertainment, will deliver the lunchtime keynote address. He will discuss his days in the entertainment business, offering several stories and anecdotes. Tsujihara oversees worldwide operations including film, television, and video game production, marketing and distribution for one of the most innovative and successful entertainment companies in the world.
