Graduates of USC Law are stepping up their contributions to the school through the USC Law Firm Challenge, which is encouraging alumni to make their gifts to the law school by adding a bit of competition — and fun — to the process.
Through the challenge, USC alumni at participating law firms are asked to make contributions to USC Law and compete with other participating firms in an effort to raise the rate of alumni participation in the school’s annual fund. Law firms that capture the highest rates of participation enjoy public recognition by USC Law in various publications and during school’s on-campus interview program. This year’s inaugural challenge involves 18 law firms and organizations. To view a complete list of participating law firms, click here.
“The Law Firm Challenge is an exciting project that appeals to the competitive spirit of our graduates and a great way for graduates to get involved not only with their law school but with each other as fellow alumni,” says Dean Matthew Spitzer ’77. “It’s also a fantastic opportunity for the participating law firms to showcase their support of USC Law to law students who are considering career opportunities at law firms and are getting to know about the Trojan Family connections. USC Law owes a great deal to the alumni and representatives of the participating firms who have given their time, support and overall commitment to making the law school even better through the challenge.”
Making a gift to USC Law is easy: Click here to give online or visit the Law Firm Challenge page of the alumni web site for more information. The deadline for 2005-06 gifts is June 30; gifts made before that date will be counted on the 2006 Law Firm Challenge.
