KAREEM CRAYTON, professor of law and politics, can discuss how age, race and gender may influence the outcome of the South Carolina and Nevada primaries. He can discuss how the candidates’ stands on immigration may also impact the races. Crayton can also talk about the Republican presidential primary in California and the party’s decision to forbid independents from participating. Crayton can talk about possible changes in the campaign strategies of both Democratic and Republican candidates’ organizations moving forward. He can discuss the likelihood of the candidates’ winning the party nomination and their ability to compete in various general election matchups. Additionally, he can talk about the candidates’ appeal to specific parts in the electorate and their political strategies to target specific interest groups. A specialist in Southern politics and California politics, Crayton can talk about how both campaigns may perform in those parts of the country as compared to Middle America. DARIA ROITHMAYR, law professor and expert on race and gender, can discuss the primaries in Nevada and South Carolina on the Democratic side.
