Office of Public Service enhances online features
-Submitted by OPS
The Office of Public Service (OPS) web site recently has been updated to include all information related to USC Law’s academic externship program. The new site also includes information on the office staff, the office’s mission statement and goals, and a list of public service opportunities and projects at USC and aroundLos Angeles.
Students can now view the externship handbooks and review past student evaluations online, as well as download forms and documents directly from the site. The administrative processes, such as the submission of externship assignments, also have been fully digitized. In addition, externship students can now access and upload their externship assignments through the USC Blackboard course web page.
In order to ensure the web site meets the needs of the law school, OPS encourages feedback from students, staff and faculty. The USC Law community is especially encouraged to inform the OPS staff of any public service related information or projects that can be added to the existing list. To contact OPS, please send an e-mail to the Office of Public Interest or call 213.740.9930.
Credit for the site redesign goes to 3L and OPS research assistant Alma Stankovic , senior web architect Nasi Peretz, web developer Shaun Lynn, and OPS student worker Kassandra Zuanich.
