The second annual event brought together current and past PILF students for an evening of networking and memories. Featured guest Karen Lash '87, who as a USC Law student was instrumental in founding PILF, spoke to the group about her work addressing ongoing legal aid issues along the Mississippi Gulf Coast with the Mississippi Center for Justice.

PILF president Lindsay Toczylowski, a 2L, announced that students have volunteered 1,200 hours of pro bono work to date for the 2006-07 school year. She expects total volunteer hours to surpass last year's total of more than 2,000 hours following the Legal Aid Alternative Breaks project trip to Mississippi and Louisiana this spring.
