First-year students selected for the USC Law Summer Fellows Program learned about the experience from previous fellows during USC Law's annual Summer Fellows Luncheon Jan. 31.

Summer Fellows Luncheon 08Summer Fellows, selected by the Admissions Office before the start of each school year, spend their first seven weeks of summer working in a law firm and the remainder of the summer working at a business or public interest organization; they work closely with a lawyer/mentor in each position. Fellows are chosen from applicants whose undergraduate records suggest they will be at the top of their 1L class.

Hosted by the Admissions Office and attended by Dean Robert K. Rasmussen and Chloe Reid, associate dean and dean of admissions, the Summer Fellows Luncheon partnered 1Ls, who will work as fellows this summer, with 2Ls and 3Ls who participated in the program in 2006 and 2007.Summer Fellows Luncheon 08
