2026 Credit and MCLE Information

Continuing Education Credits

The 52nd Annual Trust and Estate Conference will award continuing education credit. We are partnered with the American Bar Association to apply for CLE credit in jurisdictions where this program meets accreditation standards. All credits and credit types are pending until approved. Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE)

USC Gould School of Law’s application for MCLE credit is pending with the State Bar of California. This event may or may not meet the requirements for continuing legal education in other states. Please check with the bar association or Supreme Court in the state in which you are seeking credit to determine if this event is eligible. We certify that this activity qualifies for MCLE credit in the amount of:

  • 7.25 hours, including 1.75 hours of ethics credit

How to Receive MCLE Credit

1. Credit Sign-In
In-person attendees may sign in at credit table during the event, and virtual attendees login to the Conference Attendee Hub. After the conference has concluded, all attendance will be verified and marked on your CE21 account. Attendees will be notified to complete an affidavit of attendance, available on their CE21 accounts (see instructions below). Once the affidavit has been completed, certificates will be available for download.

2. Complete Affidavit of Attendance

  1. Log into your CE21 Account.
  2. Select the orange "Certificate" button.
  3. Complete a minimum of ONE session survey:
    1. "Customer Attendance Confirmation" if attended in-person.
    2. "Overall Course Completion" if attended virtually.
  4. Upon completion of a survey, the ABA Completion item will become green, granting you access to the link to the ABA Affidavit Process.
  5. Complete and submit affidavit to download MCLE certificate. 

Videos On-Demand Credit (MCLE Only)

Only MCLE credit is available for watching Videos On Demand. MCLE credit for watching videos on-demand is available for up to 3 months after the conference has concluded. 

Legal Specialization Credit

USC Gould School of Law’s application for Legal Specialization credit is pending with the State Bar of California. We certify that this activity has been approved for the following:

  • 7.25 hours of Legal Specialization credit in Taxation Law and
  • 7.25 hours of Legal Specialization credit in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE)

This program meets the guidelines for CPE credit set by the California State Board of Accountancy in the amounts listed below. No CPE credit is available for watching Videos On Demand.

  • 435 minutes
  • 8.5 hours maximum

How to Receive CPE Credit

CPE In-Person Attendees
At the conference, sign in at the beginning of the day. Return to the credit table to sign out and receive your stamped certificate.

CPE Virtual Attendees
After the conference has concluded, your certificate will be available for download in your CE21 account (instructions below). Certificates will reflect credits awarded based on the duration of session viewing and polls completed.

  1. Log into your CE21 Account
  2. Select the orange "Certificate" button.
  3. Complete a minimum of ONE session survey, select "Overall Course Completion"
  4. Select "Access Your Certificate"
  5. Select CPE Certificate "Download/Print Certificate" 

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professionals Continuing Education Credit

USC Gould School of Law is a registered CFP® Professionals Continuing Education Credit Board CE Sponsor.

How to Receive CFP® CE Credit

Attendance will be reported electronically on the CFP® website within 2 weeks from the conclusion of the conference.

Professional Fiduciaries Bureau (PFB) Continuing Education Credit

MCLE certificates for both in-person and virtual attendees are accepted for PFB.

How to Receive PFB Credit

Follow MCLE certificate steps above. Once you have received and completed your MCLE affidavit and certificate, you may submit it to receive PFB credit.

Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) Continuing Education Credit

American Bankers Association Professional Certifications for CE credit review is pending approval.

How to Receive CTFA Credit

Instructions to Self-Report for CE Credit (Virtual and In-Person Attendees)

  1. Log into certification record at aba.csod.com
  2. Hover over Add CE Credit and select Approved Non-ABA CE.
  3. Enter key word(s) from the program title or sponsor name and select program from search results
  4. Click Request and when page refreshes, click Mark Complete
