Frequently Asked Questions

What's included with registration?

In-Person registration includes all sessions, continental breakfast, luncheon, networking refreshment breaks, continuing education credit, the printed Conference Syllabus (syllabus materials will be delivered as a packet of recyclable paper at Will Call), and access to the on-demand recordings for 3 months after the Conference has concluded.

*Bring Your Own Binder! USC is committed to sustainability and eliminating single-use plastics. As a result, syllabus materials will not include a binder.

Virtual registration includes access to the live broadcast of the Conference sessions via the event platform, continuing education credit, a download of the Conference syllabus, and access to the on-demand recordings for 3 months after the Conference has concluded.

Register early before the Conference sells out!


How can change my in-person attendance to virtual attendance?

If you need to modify your registration from in-person attendance to virtual attendance, please email cle@law.usc.edu. Note, virtual attendance is $50 more.


Where is the conference being held?

The 52nd Annual Trust and Estate Conference will be held at:

The conference will also be held virtually for attendees who would like to attend remotely.


Where do I park?

Valet parking will be available at the Conference hotel for $24 per car, per day and $35 for overnight parking. Nearby self-parking will also be available at the City National Plaza Garage (located across the street from the hotel at 444 South Flower Street) for $40 per day.

Are hotel rooms available to book?

Rooms at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel will be available for attendees at a discounted rate of $239 a night. To ensure the exclusive rate, please make your reservations by October 2, 2026. If you plan to stay at the Westin Bonaventure, you will need to make your own reservations online.

Where do I check in and pick up my badge?

Check-in opens at 7:00 AM with a continental breakfast. Badges will be held at Will Call, located in the hotel’s California Ballroom foyer on the second level.


What is the dress code?

The Trust and Estate Conference has a business casual dress code. The hotel will have air conditioning, so we recommend bringing a light jacket.


What are the accommodations for dietary restrictions and special access needs?

Lunch will be provided; if you have dietary restrictions, you can indicate them in your registration. All meal requests must be made by Wednesday, October 14, 2026, to guarantee accommodations.


How do I sign in/out for credit? 

There will be a Credit table at the Conference next to Will Call for you to sign in for credit.

*Only lawyers looking for New York State credit will need to sign out at the end of the day.

How can I access the virtual sessions?

How can I exhibit at or sponsor the event?

Exhibitor space is limited to sponsors and supporters. Please contact the CLE Office at cle@law.usc.edu or call (213) 821-3580 with questions.


Can I cancel and get a refund?

All registrations and purchases are final and non-refundable.

How can I get on-demand access to session recordings and syllabi?

Unable to attend the Conference? Purchase on-demand access to available session recordings and syllabus materials to receive California MCLE credit for viewing the sessions.

In-person and virtual registrations include access to the Videos On-Demand, no additional purchase is needed. Virtual attendees will gain immediate access to watch the recordings and in-person attendees will gain access to the edited recordings of the sessions one week after the conclusion of the Conference.

Videos On-Demand will be made available for purchase on Friday, November 6, 2026. Only MCLE credit is awarded for watching videos on-demand and can only be awarded credit for up to 3 months post-Conference. Access to videos on demand and credit is available until February 5th, 2027.

Electronic Syllabus Materials will be uploaded to the Attendee Hub by Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
