This course explores litigation and dispute resolution in the entertainment industry, from traditional conflicts involving ideas, contracts, credit, sports, music and intellectual property to emerging challenges related to generative AI, likeness rights, and algorithmic bias. Using real-world cases and simulations, students will examine how lawyers protect creative talent, resolve business conflicts, and manage reputational fallout in an increasingly complex legal and cultural landscape.
