USC Law presents "From the Courtroom to the Kitchen: How Larry Flax '67 Launched CPK," the latest installment of the Conversations with the Dean speaker series, hosted by Dean Robert K. Rasmussen.

The event will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 12:20 to 1:10 p.m. in Room 7 of the law school. Lunch will be provided.

USC Law grad Larry Flax co-founded California Pizza Kitchen nearly 25 years ago with a simple idea: offer innovative pizzas at reasonable prices in a family-friendly environment. The concept took off and today the Los Angeles-based CPK boasts more than 250 restaurants with more than $500 million in annual sales. Flax says that his USC Law degree was instrumental in launching a successful business venture.
