Event cohosted by USC Gould touched on judicial history and current events
USC Gould School of Law and the USC Center for the Political Future recently cohosted “The Courts and the Future of Democracy,” a panel discussion exploring the judiciary’s influence on democratic institutions.

USC Gould Dean Franita Tolson, a leading scholar in constitutional and election law, joined the Sept. 29 panel alongside legal analyst and The New York Times contributing opinion writer Jeffrey Toobin, and Emory Law Professor Alexander “Sasha” Volokh. The conversation was moderated by CPF Director Bob Shrum.
