A delegation from Indonesia spent a day at USC recently, to attend a lecture and tour the university. The Delegation from the Regional Representative Council (DPRD) of East Java Province visited USC Gould School of Law on July 2, where the group of 14 lawmakers interacted with USC Gould faculty and administrators as well as attended a lecture, titled “The Legislative System: Policymaking and Lawmaking Process,” given by Vice Dean Donald Scotten.
“The visit from the Indonesian delegation was a valuable opportunity to expand USC Gould’s global reach and relationship with an important group of parliamentary leaders,” Scotten said. “They asked insightful questions and shared their experience as senators in the Regional Representative Council.”
