Arguments will be heard March 6

After months of hard work writing, revising, preparing and presenting arguments, eight second-year students faced off during the semifinal round of the Hale Moot Court Honors Competition Feb. 13.

Sara Menz, Jill Parker, Craig Rader and Ben Rubinfeld advanced to the final round, which will be held Friday, March 6, at Norris Cinema Theatre.

The semifinalists – which included Nancy Chang, Molly Havge, Marlayne Ingram and Faustina Lee – presented arguments in the Ackerman Courtroom before USC Law Dean Robert K. Rasmussen, U.S. Magistrate Judge Jackie Chooljian ’86, and U.S. District Court Judge Dean Pregerson.

The final round begins at 2 p.m., with a reception immediately following in Queens Court. For more information, e-mail the Events Office.
